Artist Spotlight: Cristina Ferraro
Cristina Ferraro has been creating music for as long as she can remember - from learning to play piano by ear at 3 to writing original compositions by age 8. Raised on Long Island, NY, she built her foundation performing in church and school music groups, composing arrangements for theater productions and local artists, and writing, recording, and releasing her own work as an independent artist.
Driven to take a more professional approach to the industry, she earned a B.A. with honors in Business Management with a concentration in Audio Recording, and has hands-on experience in music marketing, record label operations, and professional recording studios.
Blending influences across EDM/House, Hip Hop/R&B, Latin, Pop, Jazz, Cinematic, and more, Cristina is a full-spectrum creator - writing, producing, performing, engineering, mixing, and mastering all her own music.
She currently collaborates with independent artists nationwide, and is a music production Teaching Artist with Building Beats - an organization that educates and empowers NYC’s youth communities through music.
