Artist Spotlight: Malak Shalom
The Renaissance or new dawn begin for this artist after his water baptism. After emerging from the water and given new life and the new name "Malak Shalom," (which means King of Peace in the Hebrew tongue) a new outlook and musical mission begin. Similar to Rock mogul Bruce Springsteen, Malak has a passion for utilizing his musical talents to be a voice for positive change for his generation and future generations to come. The commission is to convey a spiritual message of truth and peace to help enhance the culture.
Due to his divers background, Malak feels that he will be able to relate to the people and not fully alienate himself completely. Malak also sees himself as a businessman and looks to get involved with the business side of the music industry as well. He is currently the founder of his own LLC in Golden Ticket Records.
Malak believes that his musical endeavor is a big portion of God's purpose and vision for his life. A platform to deliver not only good tunes to move your body, but to kindle the flame of thought, boost spiritual understanding, remove unclean energy (spirits), and to blow a trumpet of warning to the people. Music overall plays a large role in Malak's foundational background. He looks to pioneer his own path and category amongst giant musicians, but overall, he looks to bring revolutionary change and revelation to the game. Hip-Hop needs a Savior in an exigence fashion.
