Artist Spotlight: Morrison

Morrison was formed in early 2023 and consists of one person from idea to release. Dylan 'Morrison' Rose started Morrison after back to back years of grief and loss as an outlet for all the emotions one goes through; starting with the loss of his grandfather who's last name was Morrison. There's no rules in this music - just pure emotion, fragility and good vibes all rolled into one.

Morrison resides in Joplin, Missouri where Dylan has lived his whole life. He started learning drums at the age of 10 which sparked various musical projects. In the always missed 'MySpace era' Dylan was in a two piece band 'A Modern Romance' who drew influnces from artists such as The Postal Service, Radiohead, and Matt and Kim . But you must remember, this was the era of the local music rush so artists like Never Shout Never, Carter Hulsey and Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin also fed the flame to want to create and feel big in a small town. Now Morrison shares the locale of such bands as Me Like Bees, The Science Of and Caleb Denison here in central US.
