New Release: Eldrick Rodgers - ‘Give Peace a Chance’

Over a period of 15 years and 6 successful released singles, Eldrick Rodgers has maintained a steady flow of new music that continues to push the boundaries of Gospel and Urban music throughout his career. He continues to use his gift and love for music to inspire the world, while constantly refining every aspect of his craft with legacy always in the forefront of his purpose. Eldrick Rodgers developed his songwriting skills while studying music composition at Virginia Union University School of Music. In 2022, he attended the Berklee School of Music, successfully completing a course entitled “Writing Hit Songs”.
Eldrick's initial breakthrough in songwriting occurred when he was 19 years old and composed “You’re Free, Be All You Can Be” for the theatrical production Down on Beale, performed at the historic Omni-New Daisy Theater in Memphis, TN. His national exposure in songwriting began with his involvement in the Gospel Music Workshop of America, where he was chosen to write for Songwriter’s Conferences and the National Conventions. Eldrick’s gospel music has been selected to be presented at numerous National Gospel Music Workshop of America conventions.
As a former Gospel Radio Announcer at AM 1480 WBBP radio station in Memphis, TN, music education has always been pivotal in relation to the development and success of Eldrick’s music. He has been offered a distinguished honor to teach students what he has learned in the music industry. In 2025, Eldrick was tapped to teach a music course entitled “The Business of Music” and “The History of African American Music” for the Gospel Songwriter’s Conference program through Cornerstone Christian University.
Driven by faith and fueled by an unwavering spirit, Eldrick delivers soul-stirring gospel music that uplifts hearts and brings communities together in praise. Eldrick has crafted a unique sound in his writing style, blending traditional gospel elements with contemporary urban influences. In 2022, he released his popular single “Walk Around Heaven,” produced by Todd Dulaney. In 2024, he released a single entitled “Jesus” featuring Michelle Prather. It reached the top 30 position on several gospel and urban charts and continues to inspire listeners worldwide. In 2025, Eldrick released his most powerful single entitled “Give Peace a Chance” featuring Christopher Barnes, encouraging people to consider peace as an alternative to conflict and war. Give Peace a Chance afforded Eldrick numerous accolades, including reaching #1 on the Urban Influencer Gospel Chart, reaching #5 on the Mediabase Gospel Chart, being selected as an Avidity Awards Top 100 Recording Artist for 2025, and receiving a nomination for the Avidity Awards 2025 New Artist of the Year.
